Ragheb Alama, né à Beyrouth en 1962, a entamé sa carrière musicale dans les années 1980 après avoir remporté le prestigieux Prix Platine dans l’émission télévisée révolutionnaire Studio El Fan. Il s’impose rapidement comme un pionnier et une icône de la musique arabe moderne, avec une carrière qui s’étend sur plus de quatre décennies

Il est connu pour des titres intemporels tels que « Ya Rait », « Albi Ishqaha » — le tout premier clip vidéo de l’histoire de la musique arabe — et « El Hob El Kabeer ». Son style unique mêlant pop orientale, ballades romantiques et production musicale novatrice touche plusieurs générations et dépasse les frontières
Ragheb a sorti plus de 20 albums à succès et collaboré avec des producteurs et artistes internationaux. Il a également été jury dans l’émission Arab Idol, contribuant à la formation de nouveaux talents et laissant une empreinte durable sur la scène musicale arabe
